Before You Buy From www.cubicjewelry.com / www.cubiczircon.com / www.czplatinum.com, Read This!
O.k.
We have been asked for quite some time now by many customers and tradespeople alike to post a blog, alerting people to the many written and documented complaints on the Internet regarding cz-platinum.com (just one of their aliases) www.cubiczircon.com, www.cubicjewelry.com and their many other URL's on the net. These well documented and archived consumer complaints in cyberspace range from unhappiness with the quality of their products, customer service, and policies, to more significant complaints of possible fraud.
This company also operates under the names www.czengagementrings.com (cubic zirconium engagement rings), www.cubiczircon.com, www.eczjewelry.com (engagement cubic zirconium jewelry), and "The diamond store".
While it is not the nature of this diamond blog to post these types of threads, the fact is that this company has a significant and growing number of dissatisfied customers on the net with a variety of complaints, some of which are quite significant and concern possible fraudulent charges made to their credit cards.
Before you plunk down your hard earned money for some of the silver and cz diamond jewelry at www.czplatinum.com, www.cubiczircon.com, www.cubicjewelry.com etc. there are a few things you ought to be aware of.
Consumers on the net have noted the following:
1. The jewelry sold by this company is of extremely poor quality and craftsmanship, is not as advertised, and certainly not what you are paying for.
2. Their customer support and service is virtually non existent. They will not honor their own stated policies. They will not refund your money. They will not send you what was promised.
3. Some consumers have even noted fraudulent charges made on their credit cards shortly after they placed an order with this company. While this is not a sure indication of any illegal activity on the part of cubic zircon.com, it bears careful consideration nonetheless.
Cz platinum jewelry, cubic zirconia jewelry, cubiczircon.com, cubicjewelry.com, and all of its "subsidiaries" are based out of one office suite in downtown Los Angeles.
They have been rated by the BBB (Better Business Bureau) of Los Angeles with the worst possible F rating that a company can receive. With over 150 listed consumer complaints ranging from lack of service and product quality, to outright fraud. This rating is available to the public via the BBB website. You can see this link for yourself here. This will take a few seconds to load, but is worth the wait.
They are listed with the LA BBB under the Company ID #13152178. Their address is listed as 611 Wilshire Blvd. Suite 700. Contact is a guy by the name of Sam.
Much has been written on the Internet by many unhappy customers of this jewelry company currently known as "Cz Platinum Jewelry" .com, cubiczircon.com and www.cubicjewelry.com
Here are but a few posts in cyberspace by some of these customers of this cubic zirconium platinum jewelry company on the internet:

There are many internet companies selling cz jewelry. Before you plunk down your hard earned money with anyone, make sure you have done your homework and are completely comfortable.

Yes, indeed, I found that www.cubiczircon.com is a complete rip-off. I have never before been so frustrated and disappointed by a company in my entire life. I purchased a 5 carat CZ party ring for $549 (it was supposed to be 14kt gold with high quality CZs). I received a ring with less than 2 carats of stones and less than 2 gms in weight. The stones were dull and poorly cut; worst I'd ever seen. The company refused to replace it or even exchange it. They refused to provide me with a return code to return it for a refund or exchange. Thank goodness I filed a complait with my credit card company. In the end I won my dispute, and then literally threw the ring in the trash as it was worth nothing. This company should be shut down!

KK,
I am really sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience with www.cubiczircon.com.
Unfortunately, there are some bad people out there. If this blog entry in some way prevents future customers from getting scammed, it will have been well worth the effort.
All the best to you!

I purchased a cz ring from this site 2 months ago. This was the only purchase made by that particular credit card for at least 4 months. Today, I was notified by my credit card company that someone has been making fraudulent online purchases with my account. I believe it was this company. I have never had worse customer service in my entire life during the purchase process, and now this. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I purchased two rings for my wife's birthday last month. We discovered the week we received the ring that someone has made several fraudulent online purchases with our credit card information. We lost several thousand dollars. We are planning on filing a lawsuit against czplatinum cubic zircon or whatever they may now go buy. If you are interested in joining please email me at brackenlaw@gmail.com

After seeing this site on the web regarding "CZplatinum.com" I had to read since I too have had a horrible experience! My mother actually bought a ring for herself along with a ring for me. First of all, it took FOREVER to receive the rings..as in almost 2 months! This in itself should have been a sign! When we did receive the rings the center stones were as ordered and actually nice, but the smaller stones were on the bands were of poor craftsmanship! I want to add also that we made numerous calls regarding when we would receive the rings...and they lied EVERY SINGLE TIME...always that the ring was being shipped the next day..which never happened!! On top of it all, my mother had fraudulent purchases on her credit card as well!!!!! I wish so much I would have seen your website before we ever dealt with CZplatinum!!! Thanks for posting this blog!!!!!

On recommendation from a co-worker, my husband bought me a ring from CZPlatnum.com. He paid the money for platnum. It is a stunning ring in the photo online. It was too big when it arrived so, not wanting to deal with the company's SLOW delivery again, I took it to a local custom jeweler to have it down sized. She later called me to say there is a sterling silver stamp on the inside with a platnum stamp OVER it and "korea" stamped on the inside as well. We were floored. Also a prong is broken off, even though it is brand new and platnum shouldn't break off just by trying the ring on. We've hired her to take photos and document it all before we send it back to them and fight for our money back. The Credit card company said we must send it back first before they can proceed. I'm just afraid they'll claim they never received it. We spent around $1200.00 on this piece of sterling silver. We're going to fight like hell and I'm going to have my CC number changed so they don't charge me fraudulently like some of you have warned. Thanks for posting all your warnings. Live and learn.

I purchased an eternity band from CZplatinum and it arrived in 3 days and looked pretty well made and sparkly. It has a 14k stamp on the inside. I hope it is really gold. it is still white after a year, but now I'm scared to make another purchase.

I am one of the lucky ones. I didn't buy from Cubiczircon.com but they got my credit card number anyway because of their new bait and switch scheme. Since just prior to Christmas they have featured "Must Haves" on their website, ready-made rings that can be sized and delivered immediately. I ordered one of these (after numerous calls and emails trying to get information ... they don't answer the emails and had a really rude young woman answering the phone) online. It took them a week to call and tell me that the ring "wasn't available" in my size. They offered to make one as a "special order" for another $50 which would take several weeks. I cancelled my order because I resented being baited and switched. Because of your warnings I am watching my credit card closely for fraudulent charges.

Judah,
As much as we can we will try to satisfy every single customer who made purchase from our website. Don't forget we have thousands of satisfied customers for years who come back and keep buying from us. Don't forget this is jewelry. For example rings, bracelets, earring etc.. it will get worn out after a while due to normal everyday use, This are Cubic zirconia jewelry not diamonds. When a stone comes out or rodium fades away it is always normal, this doesnt mean we are DEFRAUDING PEOPLE. That's why we offer warranty and we cover everything A to Z. Aslo when someone makes a purchase from our site they have the option to keep or return for refund with no obligation. Now since i promised i will handle every issue personally all they have to do email me attention Howard Johnson at Support@cubicjewelry.com

I have had horrible experiences with cubicjewelry as well. I've purchased over 4 rings with them and had to exchange/return ALL of them for the SAME problem-the stone comes loose or falls out all together. I'm not awaiting a replacement that is to be delivered today as a matter of fact but no one will answer the phone there for me to get the tracking number to my package. Odd. Last chance cubicjewelry-next I do to the governing agencies for fraudulent companies like yours...I better have a ring in hand by end of business today that has a secure center stone or I first call the BBB then the California State Attorney General. This crap is exhausting and unacceptable.

Thank God I found this website in time! OMG I ordered my wedding bands and engagement ring from cubic jewlery.com and have had a similar experience with the customer service. I have called three times and spoke to the miserable office staff who are rude and tell you nothing. Rings were due to ship yesterday after ordereing on 1/27/2007. I sent e-mails that went unanswered. Then I started calling. Items were due to ship yesterday and at 6pm no one could give me a confirmation and the girl I was speaking to hung up on me. Thanks to this webite, I have now cancelled my credit card and ordered else where from a reputable company. You cannot defraud me. I will post this information being that I am a web desinger in as many spots as I can and let everyone know what kind of crooks you are. Have a nice day Howie!

Howard,
No need to check into my order #77567221. I was told on 2/14 the 14th busines day that it was due to be shipped overnight for today's delivery. I called and the girl nerina told me that it was shipped but could not give me an order #. So on a whim I just called back and guess what it was not shipped and they could not give me a confirmation as to why and when it would be shipped now we are on the 15th buisness day. What a sham! I asked to speak with you and they laughed at me and said you never even come in the office and the girl I spoke with said she was in charge, not you. Nice co you state you run. I have contacted my cousin who works in the bbb in LA and he is opening an investigaion into your company and your subsidiary companies. You might be a very nice guy but your customer service stinks as well as your office staff and your manufacturer. I was again hung up on by your so called manager after I Told her what I thought of her customer service skills. Maybe she has never had the excitment of getting married before and now she and you have ruined it. What can you do to make it right?
Posted by: Joseph on February 16, 2007 4:20 PM
To make it right you need to call me.I have notified customer service to tranfer me the phone call whenever you call, please feel free to call and i will take over from that point. Howard Johnson

Cubicjewelry.com is the worst company. I am currently trying to get my money back from them. A customer service representative supervisor named Nare has treated me very rudely. I receive emails in all capital letters saying it is my fault. She says she never received my emails because she personally "responds to every email before she leaves at night." There is no integrity to fix a mistake and no effort to admit a wrong and work with the customer to make it right. Do not ever, by any means, Ever, order anything from cubicjewelry.com. I am willing to join a lawsuit against this company because they must be stopped.

Lets clear something up. I did read this blog which made me very nervous. Enough to cancel my order. I did deal with customer service which did make me unhappy as well. As far as Howard is concered and his company Cubic Jewlery.com, after placing my order # on this blog, Howard , I will attest, Is a professional buisiness man who will make right on what ever is wrong in your situation with Cubic Jewlery.com. Place your order #'s if you are real people with real complaints and not some competitor trying to down Howards company. He has called me personally several times and asked what would make me happy. As a consumer, I told him what that was and he delivered, 10 fold. I have nothing bad to say about Jewlery.com or Howard. Who ever is writing these horrible things, in my eyes and anybody that I reccommend to Howards company will definatly go unfounded. If you have a problem and I say this again, place your order #. I do not see any order #'s here except for mine. I defend Howard because he has been nothing but a man of his word to me. I will be purchasing again from him. I have also advised good friends to purchase from him as well. He is a wonderful man who will address any concern you have if you are not full of shit. This go's to all with no order #.
Have a nice day,
Joseph

unfortunately did not learn my lesson from dealing with CZplatinum.com. I have ordered a custom ring that turned out horribly, it was not what I had requested, the "white gold" rubbed off and they would not allow me to return it or exchange it. Like a dumb ass I ordered a 14kt white gold wedding set and I had thought the 14kt white gold was real not only did the rings “white gold” rub off but one corroded after being in jewelry cleaner over night. When I received the set one on of the side stones had cracked I returned it for repair. When I got it back it was distorted and part of the band was missing. My husband tried to be nice and bought me a pair of "platinum" earrings. I thought he paid too much so I returned them. I never got a full refund. I did get a run around from everyone I spoke to there. They even pretended to be sympathetic. The office manager was always out and it got to the point that it wasn’t worth the time or energy anymore. I filed a report with the BBB but that was a few years later. They have them listed with an "F" rateing. www.labbb.org

i have had dealings with this company, ive also had issues with them, the only way you are going to receive a refund is if you deal with mr johnson direct on here than you wont get run around i dont deny this but if you put your order #s like ive been telling people howard wiil make your problem go away meaning , repair refund etc. whatever you want he will make right please give the man the chance he deserves to stand behind his company and handle his buisness all you really have to due is place order #s end of story once again.
ps i am getiing so mad cause i own buisness and i think this is someones evil plot to destroy howards company and that makes me angry cause he is a man of honor belive me when i tell you this i deal with a lot of shady people in buisness i wiil and can atest from being in my own buisness 18 years howard is not one of them he is honest man let him be and by the way if anyone wAnts

This is the first blog I've ever read, as I am getting ready to buy a ring on cubicjewelry.com. I'm a little concerned after reading what has been posted because I thought this website had a wonderful selection, but I'm dealing with a time crunch and don't know if I can rely on them to come through. I "guess" I'm glad for blogs; I wonder if they might be a little slanted towards the negative, considering all the business this company has done over the years and the few posted positive comments.

I have purchased from Cubiczircon.com. The ring I ordered took over a month to get to me. I made many attempts to contact the company and I too was told it had been shipped, it will be shipped, it hasn't shipped yet. When I did received the ring it was the wrong ring. I verified the item number to make sure I didn't make a mistake when I ordered the ring. Nope I sure didn't they sent me the wrong ring. I ended up keeping the ring believe it or not because it was close to the look of the ring I ordered. I wish they would have told me that they didn't have the ring I ordered and were going to send me a different ring. Also they claim to have AAAAAAA quality stones and no floresent color from the stones. Well I can see some floresent color in mines. I also ordered a pair or 1 ct each earrings. They appear to be somewhat cloudy to me but I also kept them. I do have to say that except for the stone quality the durability and the craftmanship appears to be pretty good. It wasn't what I expected but I guess i've seen worst. Now i'm going to a jewler to verify that it's real 14kt gold since i've read some of these blogs. On another note someone charged $541.38 fraudulent charges on the same credit card I use to purchase from Cubiczircon.com. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with this company but after reading all of the other blogs i'm starting to wonder. This have never happed until I ordered from this company. Good thing my credit card company saw it a fraud too. Well that's my story, good luck too all of you who have had and are having some of these same problems.

I had returned a pair of rings to Cubiczircon on 4-4-07 for repair. After reading the comments on this blog I followed the advice given and emailed Howard Johnson with my original order # and RMA # along with my concerns late Friday 4-13-07. I rec'd a reply from Howard on Sat. 4-14-07 saying he rec'd my email and that he would call me on Monday. I did rec. the phone call and that I had his word that I would have my rings in 2 days no charge. I DID rec. my rings in 2 days (they came today 4-18-07). I am impressed how Mr. Johnson resonded to my concerns and the manner in which he responded to them. I am going to place another order with Cubiczircon.

I recently received a ring from Cubicjewelry.com and it was very lovely -- however, I did have to fuss about the length of time it took (I ordered Guaranteed Rush, which is advertised on the website as 3 days manufacturing + overnight shipping and it took 11 days to get here). I also received very rude customer service whenever I would call to ask about the status of an order and got nothing but a run-around. I contacted Howard Johnson as instructed as was referred to Katherine (sp), who is VERY nice. However, I ordered another ring (as you request, order # 77568470) and that is still not here. This was ordered April 12 and I asked for a rush. Katherine did tell me that the rush fee would be dropped, which was very nice. However, after reading these postings, I am again nervous. I hope that neither of these rings fall apart because I did pay a lot of money. I was considering ordering another ring from this company but I am wary. I am also VERY wary about these reports of credit card fraud! I am once again beginning to have bad feelings about this company. I hope I am wrong. Someone said they actually spoke with this Mr. Johnson, but I was referred to another person at this company. Mr. Johnson, do you actually exist?
Posted by: Laura on April 29, 2007 11:32 PM
Ok, I had recently purchased two rings from Cubicjewelry.com (on 4/26 order # 77568672). Obviously I had not yet received the rings as my 14-days won't expire until at least 5/10 (5/14 if not counting weekends).
After reading this blog, I am a little confused and to be honest, a bit scare of my purchase (I am not a woman of many means so the $ I spent on these two rings is A LOT OF $ for me although they may be merely pocket changes for some).
After reading the msgs exchanged between Judah, Joseph and Howard, I am not sure what to believe. I am uncertain whether the negatives msgs are competitors' evil plots to bring this company down as their prices are bit lower than other online cz companies. Or this is a truly problematic company?
I decide not to take any side now. I will stand as a witness of how my purchase is going to turn out (I did post my order # so = I am a REAL CREDITABLE CUSTOMER). And I will come back to post another msg when I get my rings.
This may help eliminate some confusions for future customers of this web-based jewelry.

Hi Mr. Howard Johnson. I bought a bracelet from cubicjewelry under the invoice number 524524, order number 77567881, dated 3/6/2007. The bracelet is supposed to be in white gold. After less than 2 months, few of the stones are cracked, other ones are loose. I also noticed that the colour of the bracelet is changing to yellow. I contacted the support by email and also sent you a copy. I received a reply on the procedure to get a Repair Authorization. For the information of readers I highlight some points from their reply:
1- Even if I found out that my perchase was a total mistake: "Please note that there will be no refund and no exchange since the return time frame has passed."
2- Even if I have to pay the shipping to return the defective bracelet: "Shipping charges of $10.00 will apply."
3- Even I bought the bracelet less than 2 month ago: "If the merchandise is damaged badly, cubiczircon will not repair due to normal use of wear."
4- Even if I noticed that the bracelet may not be in white gold, as it is supposed to be: "CubicZircon's warranty only covers stones."
5- And of course: "CubicZircon will not be responsible for charge back or dispute, in case of a dispute we will forward this agreement, along with our return policy to the credit card company."
The first think I will do tonight is to contact my Credit Card company.

I received a second ring from CubicJewelry the other day and it is beautiful. I am going to keep a close eye on both of my rings to make sure prongs do not slip, break, etc. One of the prongs on one of my rings is off center a little and it worries me.
A note: I read above somewhere that someone had complained about their jewelry corroding after leaving it in jewelry cleaner all night. DO NOT EVER LEAVE YOUR JEWELRY IN COMMERCIAL OVER-THE-COUNTER CLEANERS MORE THAN 2 MINUTES! That stuff will corrode any and all kinds of gold, platinum, etc. Do not even use that stuff. Use a very mild dish soap (I use Ivory) in luke-warm water, and rinse the jewelry in luke-warm water.
I will keep an eye on those prongs.

This is Maggie, the girl purchased two rings from Cubicjewelry.com (on 4/26 order # 77568672). The manafacture/delivery time did not take as long as I thought it would. The delivery was actually made on 5/2. I didn't receive it until 5/4 but it's totally my fault. The order was delivery via USPS priority and an note was left in my mailbox to pick up since 5/2. After two days of failure attempted delivery, a representative from Cubicjewelry (Kathrine) actually notified me via a phone call. I was very impressed of the customer service I received!!!!!!
As for the rings, they are very beautiful...the stone is shiny & the gold band is solid (I have to admit the gold band of one of the rings I got is a bit thin but it's VERY good deal of the price I paid ($89).
As of now, I am very satisfied and happy customer. However, I will pay close attention to the credit card I used (in case of fradulent charges).
To the readers of this blog - you can buy in confidence from Cubic Jewelry. Their products are of good quality. And if you are one of the few unfortunate person who brought a defected product. I am sure Mr. Howard Johnson will work as he can to have the problem resovled. You can tell that he does try to satifiy all his customers by Rouzbeh's experience.

I just wanted to post a positive for this company. I purchased a wedding set a few years ago, which was a very nice solid piece of jewelry. It was a very beautiful set and I was very happy with it.
However, the rhodium has faded over the years, as SHOULD BE EXPECTED from normal wear. So it is slightly yellow in those faded spots. AGAIN, as is expected. I'm not sure that most people realize that White Gold isn't truly white, it does have a slight yellow tint to it. So, most pieces are rhodium plated. The rhodium plating does not last forever & has to be re-dipped from time to time. The amount of time depends on how rough you are on the jewelry. I generally have mine done every 6 months or so. I would say that most people can go for 1-2 years though.
The one thing I will say that is negative is that the young lady who answers the phone is probably the rudest, ill tempered person I have ever spoken with.
I would post my order number but it has been years and I can't find it which is the only reason I haven't sent it in for repair.
I do have a question for Howard...is there any way to find out the original order number?? So that I could send it in for repair.

This is Laura -- I commented before about two rings I'd purchased at Cubicjewelry.com. I have sent one in for repair and was told on Thursday the 24th that it would be shipped out the next day. I am hoping that I will receive this ring by the end of next week. As for the other one, it is a beautiful ring and I am proud to wear it, however, I remain nervous about the other one because when I re-read some of these comments, I saw that many people had been told that their jewelry would ship out and did not...I hope I will not be one of them. I am looking forward to getting this one back because it too was gorgeous. The rings are worth the wait -- anything worth it takes time -- however, I really hope that the bad experiences are all over not just for me but for everyone. Meanwhile, I applaud Catherine for her attention and willingness to check up on things. I will post again as to whether or not the ring comes this week.

I placed an order on 5/21/07, read this site & decided to cancel my order 5/25/07. On 5/26/07 numerous fraudulent activity was noted by my bank on my credit card. Now I have to sort through this mess! I don't find it coincidental at all that this fraudulent activity happened almost immediately after I cancelled my order. The confirmation email I received from CubicJewelry.com says "Dear Customer, Your order has been cancelled as you requested!! Thank you." .... and that's all they wrote. It almost sounds as if they're mad at me. What's up with the exclamation points in their email? I will never deal with this company again. I have made soooo many online purchases, and honestly this is the only company I had some doubts with because I found out AFTER I put my order in that they have soooo many other websites that redirects to CubicJewelry. I wonder if they have dishonest people that work there that steal customers' credit card infos. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! :(

My Order Number is 77569006. I cancelled the order because I wanted to get a different style for my girlfriend, but now I'm too suspicious to place another order. I don't appreciate you accusing me of writing a "false comment". I said "I WONDER IF" there are dishonest employees working there, that's me thinking & wondering about your company, NOT making a false comment. It's too much of a coincidence that there are other people who are experiencing fraudulent activity on their credit cards after placing an order. Also, I sent an email attentioned to you at howard@ejewelryservice.com, it came back as an invalid address. I ended up sending one to support@cubicjewelry.com. I had to close my bank account & open a new one. It was very annoying.

I found this thread and found it very helpful. This is the email that I sent to Howard Johnson. I really hope that he responds. "Your customer service and company are horrendous. Your company has been the worst part of planning my wedding. My wedding is in two weeks and I still do not have my ring that I ordered in April. I ordered two rings, but only received one. After over 20 calls (most of them without return phone calls to me) I finally got your company to send me my ring. When I got it, it looked like crap and totally cheap. The settings looked nothing like the picture on the web. I was told a two weeks ago that it would be fixed and that I was GUARANTEED to have it a week ago. Now I am told it will be ASAP. Please look into this immediately so that I can actually have my ring that I ordered almost 3 months ago for my wedding that is less than 2 weeks away. The original order number is 77568623 and it was placed on April 21, 2007."

I have had a very good experience with this company and with Mr. Johnson in the past, and in good faith I too ordered another ring. Both my others were stunning and I have had no problems with them. I placed order #77569451
on June 28 and also emailed a question concerning another product on their website. I have yet to receive an answer. I understand that the whole process takes 7-14 days, and I requested overnight shipping, for which I had to pay extra. That means I am supposed to have my ring around the 20th of July. I hope this doesn't start all over again and I have to complain!

I have to say that it has been more than five years ago that I ordered a marquise ring from this company and my only complaint was that the girdle of the cz was unpolished. I promptly called the company and explained that the stone needed to be replaced. They had me send the ring back and within about ten days I got it back with the situation completely resolved. My latest experience was that my husband purchased stud earrings for me, at my request, at Christmas. The earrings are lovely . After coming upon this site, I asked how his experience was and he said that the problem he encountered was that he paid for priority shipping and when the earrings did not arrive, he called and wanted to know where the earings were which they claimed had shipped. However, they must have overnighted them after that call because he got them on time for the holiday with no extra shipping charge. My experience albeit limited has been a good one
I hope that they and Mr. Johnson succeed in making the necessary adjustments to keep this company going because I love the choices available and browsing their website but after finding this website, I'm a bit wary about purchasing again. I just don't understand, if they are capable of doing things right, why are they just not consistent? Maybe they need to revisit their business model.

I posted above on July 6th, order number 77568623. I finally just received my ring today. Still a piece of junk. They fixed the setting, but now you move your hand in the slightest and the whole ring makes a jingling sound. It sounds like a ring you buy out of a vending machine. I will keep it to get through my wedding next week and then I want a full refund. Mr. Johnson responded to me through this website, but did not personally contact me or have anyone else call me. I think I am also going to take my ring to a real jeweler to find out if it is actual gold. I can't believe that this company hasn't been shut down yet or been sued by a ton of people.

Hello Howard,
I ordered a ring from your site back in September. The order # was 4121867. This ring was to be a replacement for my diamond solitaire engagemant ring that I had lost the stone out of. I ordered the ring with a one carat sized pear shaped stone. It took me 6 weeks to get the ring which was very beautiful and well made, but the center stone was a 2 carat sized pear shaped stone. I know this because I measured it and it was 10x7mm. I sent the ring back for a 1 carat size and had to wait another six weeks until I got it back. The stone had been replaced with a 1.5 carat stone which is 9x6mm. Rather than sending it back yet again I decided to keep it, planning on swapping it out for a smaller stone later on myself.
I decided that the ring didn't look right with my wedding band, so I decided to wear it on my right hand as a past-present-future ring, and planned on ordering a solitaire ring from your website to go with my wedding band. My 10th wedding anniversary is in September and I told my husband that I would order a one carate size 6x6mm asscher cut stone from you as well and he could have it set in the three stone ring to replace the center stone.
I placed my order on 7-7-06. My order #77569550
I ordered ring #SOL102 and loose asscher stone #AC004. On that date the price of the ring was $118 and the stone was $29. I DID NOT receive a confirmation E-Mail after the order was placed even though your website stated I would get one. I have called your customer service dept three times with promises to email me the confirmation and I still have not received it.
I was looking on your website today and noticed that you have raised your prices. The ring I ordered is now $149 and the stone is $35. Since I did not receive my confirmation email I hope I am not going to be charged the new raised prices for the items I ordered, I expect to be charged the prices stated on your website on the day that I placed the order. I would appreciate it if you could see that I receive a confirmation email of my order. Thank you.
I want to add that my 3 stone ring is beautiful and well made. I ordered 14k yellow gold with white gold top. The side stones are half carat princess cuts. The stones are beautiful, very well cut and polished and look like the real thing. My pear stone has become chipped probably because the center stone setting is for a 4 prong stone so that's why I'm replacing it with a square - asscher cut stone. I just don't want the hassle of sending it in to you for repair because I don't want to have to wait so long to get it back. I am hoping that my solitaire ring turns out as nice as the first ring I ordered.

I've posted above in two posts. Howard was helpful and said that he would send me two new matching rings. He also told me that he would refund the money for my ring. We received the rings and they looked completely different from the first two rings we received. We decided to just cut our losses and go out and purchase new rings a week before our wedding. I still have not been refunded for my ring and I have called Howard about 5 times this week. Each time I leave a message and they say he will get back to me. We also took the original rings to a jeweler and he said that he thought the rings had no gold in them whatsoever. I can't believe what a horrible experience that this has been. I am thankful that we found rings elsewhere on such short notice.

About white gold? White gold is increasing in popularity, but what people don't realize is that there is no such thing as "white gold." All metals exist in nature as various shades of grey with the exception of gold and copper. An alloy of metal is a combination of various metallic elements that are used in varying proportions to produce the desired color and properties. More importantly; the more gold in the alloy, the more yellowish it will appear in color. The karat grade will always indicate the amount of gold in the alloy. For example, 18K = 75% pure gold. So for 18K, this only leaves 25% of the alloy for other metals to make it whiter. This is why 18K white gold is more yellowish than 14K white gold. White gold is almost always rhodium plated. It is a common practice in the jewelry trade to always rhodium plate white gold jewelry. Similarly, platinum can be rhodium plated but sometimes it is left in it's natural state. Rhodium is very white, reflective, and extremely hard and virtually tarnish proof. Platinum on the other hand normally appears to be a more grayish white and not as bright which is why it is sometimes plated as well unless it has a good amount of palladium in the alloy. When the plating on platinum begins to wear thin you don't notice it as much, but you do on white gold because the alloy is yellowish. The plating will probably wear off in 1-5 years of you wearing it, depending on how rough you are on the rings, and how much rhodium plating is on the ring. All white gold jewelry will require maintenance at one time or another to keep it looking brand new. Once the plating wears off you will see yellowish color beneath the white gold, that’s when you know its time to send it back to us and have it refinish again.

my order number is 77569316 and I placed the order on June 17. I sent 2 emails and nobody answered, I called 2 weeks ago and I was told that my ring was about to be shipped the same day. Still nothing. This is unbelieveble, I celebrated my 10th year wedding anniversary few days ago without my ring, I'm very upset.
Mr. Johnson could you please let me know something and send me my ring?

Just an update....i received my ring today. A girl named Andrea called and told me it was on the way, and it was in my mailbox today. I ordered a 3/4 carat solitare to duplicate my real one because i am pretty rough on my real one, and am afraid of losing the stone. The one i ordered matches perfectly, and is absolutely gorgeous. They also sent me a free 3 stone pendant AND overnighted the package to me. I was stressing because of the wait time, but it was well worth the nail biting and waiting. The jewelry is to die for !!

Hi,
I received my ring yesterday and a kind lady called to inform me about the shipping.
I must say that the stone shines beautifully, however it's bigger than what it supposed to be.
I decided to keep it though. They sent me a free gift: a pair of earrings to match the ring too. I think they have the capacity to do some good work if they want to and based on the quality of their stones it's a shame not to pay attention to details and have all these unsatisfy customers.
I hope they can solve their issues and be consistent in the future.

I received my solitaire ring and asscher stone yesterday. I was only charged the original price that it was on the day I placed the order. The turn around time from the day I placed the order and the day I received it was only 25 days. My ring turned out beautiful! I ordered a 1.25 carat pear shaped stone in a Tiffany solitaire setting and it goes perfectly with my wedding band.
My husband is going to have the asscher stone mounted in my three stone ring for our 10th wedding anniversary next month. I'll be ordering from you again in the future!

To whom it may concern,
I placed an order from your website on 08/04/2007 and when I received my ring 2 weeks later I was to say the least EXTREMELY disappointed. The ring I received looked NOTHING like the ring you advertised online! It was poorly made, didn't even have a 14kt gold stamp and instead of the beautiful engraved design shown online, i received a half done ring with the ugliest craftsmanship i have ever seen in my life! So I contacted you via e-mail and we made arrangements for me to choose a new ring, and drive all the way to your Wilshire location to pick it up. When i picked up the new ring an associate named Tamara gave it to me, I took a quick look at it asked her when i would be reimbursed for the difference since the ring I chose was over 130 dollars less than the one I had originally ordered. Tamara told me that my credit card had already been refunded and so I trusted that was the case left in a hurry since I had somewhere to be. When i got home and had the opportunity to take a good look at the new ring I was once again EXTREMELY disappointed and very upset to see that my credit card had NOT been refunded the difference. It is very clear to me that your company does not take pride in the quality of your products or keeping your customers happy and satisfied and that is a shame. At this point I am exhausted and convinced that no matter how many times I exchange my ring, I will just receive a new disappointment from you guys. You seem to pull the old bait and switch routine on all your customers and you should be held LIABLE for your actions FYI: bait and switch is a form of FRAUD. Please contact me asap, I expect a FULL refund and you can have your ring back. Please be advised that I am prepared to take whatever action is needed until i have received a FULL REFUND for my purchase.

I ordered my first engagement ring 2 years ago and was very pleased. I, again, ordered another ring last Christmas of 2006. It was a two ring order and though it did take well over a month to get to me, I was very pleased. It is a three stone engagement ring and is very beautiful. I believe that the customer service could definatly improve but find it hard to believe that half of the products cubiczircon sends out are so defective and the other half are perfect. I appears to me that there may just be people on here trying to tarnish a good name. It says on the website it takes two weeks of manufacturing time, you wont get your order till whatever you paid for after that. Howard, I am planning on using you in the future, I am very pleased with your product, and I think we all know that there are way too many people posting negative comments on here without order numbers. I would definatly order from cubiczircon in the future!

Hi, Howard. I have browsed your pictures of rings and though they are all nice, I have found a picture of a ring that I would like you to design. How would I go about sending the picture and detailing how I would like the carats to go and would I be able to email this picture to you and you give me pricing based on my details? Let me know! Thanx!
