Interesting story....
I sold a 3ct stone to a couple for $25,000. After three months the man called to say that the engagement was off. The woman would be coming to me to sell the stone. As he had been the one recommended to me, I asked him how he wanted me to handle the buy-back. Did he want me to give her a small part of the money and send him the rest? or any other scenarios?
His answer floored me! He sid give her all of the money I could. The $25,000 ring was nothing compared to the check he wrote her to get her out of his life!!
