Soyuz Watches. From Russia With Love
One of my new favorite watches (;-) is the Soyuz tourbillion with the balance bridge in the form of a twin-head skeletonized eagle and with retrograde indicators of day and date.
Just a stunning watch!
The famous Russian Company “Rekord” Watch-Making Company” Ltd., SOYUZ brand owner and one of the leaders of the Russian watch market, has presented its brand at the International Watch Exhibition BASELWORLD 2006 upon the overwhelming success at the INHORGENTA 2006 Exhibition.
The deal with this company is that they promote their brand based on its interesting history.
It seems that a secret armory near Moscow was manufacturing limited series of SOYUZ watches by the order of Stalin in the 1940's. Soviet leaders were granted with Soyuz as a distinction.
Now they are marketing and pitching this aspect of the watches history as a way of capturing market share and opening the brand to regular consumers like us!
They even feature a watch collection called KGB. They ask you to purchase one and become a "KGB agent".
In fact, at their recent 2006 booth at the watch expo in Basel, they had an actor dressed up like Stalin showcasing the watches for the passing crowd!

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

I dont know what it is about this blog that turns me off so much, but you just dont seem to obtain me excited. I dont know if its the lack of content or just the way you wrote it. If I may --perhaps you should consider adding a couple of images. I dont mean to disrespect what youve said; its really enlightening, indeed. Nevertheless, I feel would respond to it far more positively if they could be some thing tangible to your suggestions. Maintain it up, but put just a little much more into it next time.

I dont really know what youre talking about here. This cant be the only method to think about this can it? It seems like you know a lot about the subject, so why not explore it a lot more? Make it a lot more accessible to every person else who may not agree with you? Youd get a good deal a lot more folks behind this should you just stopped producing general statements.

I should say, youve got one of the finest blogs Ive seen in a long time. What I wouldnt give to have the ability to create a weblog thats as intriguing as this. Im impressed, I should say. Very rarely do I come across a weblog thats both informative and entertaining, and let me tell you, youve hit the nail on the head. Your blog is critical; the problem is something that not sufficient people are talking intelligently about.
