Wedding Cakes For Geeks.
Lest we forget Geeks are peoples too and they do get married.
What better way to celebrate at their wedding than with Wedding cakes that reflect who they are.
Here are three Geek wedding cakes that we recently came across:

Nintendo Wedding cake.

Super Mario

Star Wars Wedding cake.
The point here is that it's not just about getting your gal this perfect engagement ring. To be sure, that stuff is important too. We all know how much symbolism lies in the gift of a wedding ring or wedding band. You only get engaged one time (we hope) and these stunning engagement rings play an integral role in this process!
Still, don't forget the CAKE!!!
To some, this might be more important than the engagement ring!!!
May the force be with you so you don't get indigestion.

The first and the second are not wedding cakes, but birthday cakes... and I could think of many more geeky themes :(

Sorry, I meant first and third.

They could still be wedding cakes, but serving as groom cakes.

Pupeno,
Ever heard of a Groom's Cake? The First and third cakes make perfect Groom's Cakes so they are essentially wedding cakes.

I had a Star Wars themed groom's cake for my wedding. It was great - and geeky :) just how I wanted it.

I wish you would have sourced my story about Geeksugar since I took the trouble to research and find these cakes on Flickr.

Character cakes are nice for birth day parties, maybe a shower, but for the serious stuff after the frill and fancy and you are a 1/2 century old, you'll be wondering why didn't I just have a regular cake and regular people. True or real traditions may be burried but they never, ever die.

The first one is cleatly at least AT a wedding. There are rose petals under it. My husbands Grooms cake was a big Flash symbol (the superhero, not the program)
