Gomelsky Wins Jewelers Press Award
The Jewelry Information Center (JIC) honored Victoria Gomelsky for exceptional coverage of the fine-jewelry and watch industries at a luncheon held on Tuesday in conjunction with the JA New York Summer Show.
Victoria Gomelsky
Editor since 2004 of Couture International Jeweler, and with a Master's Degree in nonfiction writing from Columbia University, Gomelsky was previously the diamond and gemstone editor for National Jeweler. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, International Herald Tribune, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Escape, The Sun and an anthology called Waking Up American: Coming of Age Biculturally.

I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

How can the Nickelodeon logo be to the Ideal l ist but Bing be to the worst l ist? It will be like looking at the same factor, a single is skinny plus the other is unwanted fat. And I am aware th is is nostalgia talking, but the new Nick logo is just poor.From the top l ist, I would have place the NY Library nearer for the high. It's a stand out mark that is just sharp.

If I may well --perhaps you ought to consider adding some images. I dont mean to disrespect what youve said; its really enlightening, indeed. Even so, I think would respond to it much more positively if they could be some thing tangible to your suggestions. Maintain it up, but put a little more into it next time.

Your weblog is fine. I just desire to comment on the design. Its too loud. Its doing way an excessive amount of and it takes away from what youve got to say --which I feel is genuinely critical. I dont know if you didnt feel that your words could hold everyones attention, but you were wrong.

I've to say, I dont know if its the clashing colours or the bad grammar, but this weblog is hideous!
