N.Y.C. Diamond District Rat Race
Well, the summer is officially over and the annual diamond industry vaccation (July 1 - 14) and trade shows are already a distant memory. Things are really starting to heat up again, here in the New York City Diamond District.
I kind of enjoyed the relative quiet and tranquility the summer months brought to the district.
Nobody was in a rush and it was actually fun walking the street.
Now everyone is back from vacation and ready to rumble.
47 street is the "eye of the storm" all over again, with people running and going in a cacophony of flying bodies...
Walking on the street is like an adventure; you don't know whether you're gonna come back in one piece!!
Why is everyone in such a rush, why the frantic running and stumbling, and what ever happened to manners??
