Longest Wedding Dress Train Ever! {Pics!}

A couple showcases what is reportedly the longest wedding dress in China. The bridegroom has contracted a local tailor to make the 200.8-meter-long dress. [Photo: eastday.com]
A bride in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou recently walked down the aisle wearing the country's longest wedding dress.
Her fiancee contracted a local tailor to make the wedding gown, with the dress' train stretching for 200.8 meters, Guangzhou Daily reported.
The bridegroom says the length echoes the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
It has set a new domestic record, grabbing the title from the previous holder at 99 meters.
Hmm...I wonder how she got into the car???

what a picture that is of an extreme dress in length. I wonder how many attendants it took to carry the train and keep it off the floor? some people have way too much time and money...
is this in the guiness book of records...?

that shouldnt even be considered for the longest train. all it looks like is a bunch of organza or something strung out all over the field. Its not beaded or decorative like a Real wedding gown train would be.

Not true, you can see the lace trimming and in other pictures of it its got lace going down the middle. Now what I want to see pictures of is the world record holders dress, no pictures of it, not even no Geinnis

My God when i get married i never wanna have such an unconventional looking dress but if it makes you happy then screw what everyone else thinks because its all about you and it should not matter what we think as long as you had the greatest day its all good. Hope God grants you much happiness and pure bliss for all eternity Congratulations on your marriage stay blessed.

Wow. This is insane.
I dont see why they would need a long train
Must be a chinese thing.
But oh well.
It happens.
But the dress looks good without the long train.

OMG this is like the coolest thing I have ever seen in my whole life! The dress is absolutely, beyond adorible. I would kill to have that long of a train any day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The setting is just way too cute, way, way too adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tara,
It's not a 'Chinese thing' as you mentioned. It's not just Chinese people that had trains that are this long. Are you going to accuse Princess Diana of something similar even if her dress train is long (but still shorter than this)?
