Recession? Diamond Engagement Ring Sales to Hit 9 Billion by 2013!
So says The WeddingReport.com Bling-Bling, We Sing.
Engagement ring spending will total an amazing $6.1 billion in the United States in 2008, with another $2 billion in spending on wedding rings for brides and grooms.
This $8.1 billion bridal market will increase to $9.2 billion by 2013, a growth of 13.4 percent over the next five years. The majority of both engagement and wedding rings will contain diamonds with more than two-thirds of the rings being of white gold composition.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
