I was just looking up some info for you guys to reference to a friend that’s looking at rings/diamonds. And to my pleasant surprise, I found that you had a picture of Christina and I on your homepage! I wasn’t sure what information I sent you originally – must have been a link to our wedding blog?
In any case, I’ve attached some pics of the final ring. It was a custom design (by me) that Barnes Jewelers (of Oconomowoc, WI) put together for me. They had it developed in 3D CAD and then had a custom mold(s) made for it. The top crown (was done it two pieces) had to be redone a couple times because the size didn’t end up quite right for the melee diamonds around the perimeter. But, I’m really pleased with the way it turned out. There are “sea blue” diamonds (not natural) on the side to signify our Cayman wedding. And, it was all set in platinum. Christina loved it, and I hope you guys do to!
